Existing home grants

Now is the time to reduce home energy flow and increase your cash flow

Feel good about reducing your energy consumption amidst ever-increasing energy costs. Taking advantage of historic high rebates that wont last forever is just the cherry on top….

Historic high rebates

Early adopters are taking advantage before they expire. Some programs are already “nearly subscribed”…

Lower your footprint

Reduce your energy consumption and eliminate or reduce the use of fossil fuels

Natural Gas: Carbon tax

You currently pay 30% more for every GJ of natural gas used. This will only increase as the carbon tax increases.

Electricity: 2 step pricing

You pay 48% more at Step 2 for all electricity used after ~1350 kWh

Take advantage of stacking rebates and interest-free loans while they’re still available

You will receive separate, compounding rebates from each level of government

  1. Federal: Canada Greener Homes Grant

  2. Provincial: CleanBC Better Homes

  3. Municipal: Varies by municipality

Stacking the rebates 101

Completing EnerGuide home evaluations with certified Flowcasa energy advisors ensures you are eligible to access all the grants from both Canada Greener Homes and CleanBC

Rebate amounts reflected above are the maximum amounts for each eligible retrofit upgrade. Actual rebate amounts depend on:

  • Product efficiencies

  • Amount installed

  • Primary heating fuel source (ie. fossil fuel) before retrofit upgrades (CleanBC only)

  • Utility provider (ie. BC Hydro, FortisBC, or municipal utility)

  • Home location (ie. CleanBC - Not all municipalities have top-ups)
